Congratulations to Prof. Jessica Meeuwig and Dr. James Hehre on winning Singularity University’s Global Impact Challenge (GIC) for Western Australia and the finals in Melbourne! The University of Western Australia’s Marine Futures Lab won for their idea to halt and reverse global fisheries declines by developing open-access technology for governments and stakeholders to better evaluate, manage and protect important fisheries.
