PhD title:
Bio: I was born in Brittany, France where I completed my Bachelor in Biology in 2021. I then received my Master degree in Marine and Fisheries Management and Aquaculture in Corsica in 2023.
I enjoy learning and observing all living critters, but my longest and strongest passion has always been the marine environment and its species. From this interest, I then developed a keen interest in studying the best ways to protect them.
My first work experience in the marine field was studying the life traits of the critically endangered European eel in 2020.
I then followed, in 2023, with pelagic ecosystems assessment and long-term monitoring of two newly established Marine Protected Areas in Western Australia which was the subject of my Master's thesis.
I have since been working in the Marine Futures Lab looking at the fish communities from the Antarctica Peninsula to the remote islands of Pitcairn in the Pacific Ocean, as well as going on fieldwork in two charismatic regions of Western Australia, Shark Bay and the Ningaloo reef.
